Louisiana - Now Open!

On 9/2, there was a suspension for 3rd party shippers to the state of Louisiana (LA) that was effective immediately. Since then, WineDirect has been working directly with the Wine Institute and our carriers to offer a swift resolution.

We're super excited to inform you that, as of 9/22, we're open to ship to LA! 

If you were configured to ship to LA before the temporary suspension, we've automatically turned your channel back on.

If you didn't have LA configured but would like to, please reach out to Account Manager or Account Coordinator with a copy of your LA permit and we'd be happy to get that set-up for you.

Fulfillment Portal Redesign - Beta Now Available!

We're happy to announce that our Fulfillment Portal is getting a redesign! We're bringing the same functionality with a new look and feel! 

The beta site is currently up for your review, check it out and let your Account Coordinator or Account Manager know what you think. 

The redesigned portal will go live on Monday, Oct 4th.

We realize that the Fulfillment Portal redesign comes at the footsteps of Peak Season. Because of this, the current Fulfillment Portal will be simultaneously available with the new portal through peak. 

  

Extended CS Hours - Started on Monday 10/4

As we head into the Peak Season, we are putting every effort in ensuring we're providing as much assistance and availability as possible.

Much like last Fall, your CS Team will be working extended hours to offer you more support!

Starting on Monday, 10/4, our CS Team will be available from 7am through 6pm PST.

Book Your 2021 Club Shipping Dates Today!

As we head into the Fall Club Shipping Season, we're here to remind you to submit your Club Checklist as soon as possible to officially reserve your club shipping day.

Some things to note:

  • Dates are filling fast and we may already be fully committed on some dates
  • All dates are reserved on a first come, first serve basis
  • The Club Checklist is due, at the latest, 6 weeks prior to your desired ship date (the earlier the better)
    • Even if dates were pre-reserved, we will need the checklist to officially confirm the reservation

To reserve your club dates, please submit your completed Club Checklist to clubs@winedirect.com.

 

              

Holiday Shipping Timelines Are In!

We're happy to bring you the Holiday Shipping Timelines! These timelines provide an insight into the possible last days to ship in time for a holiday delivery (and to account for any hiccups with the carriers).

Compliance Corner: Bringing you the latest and greatest on state changes and availability!

This year, we've seen a number of states change their DTC or adopt a DTC shipping program.

WineDirect is working diligently and staying on top of it!

But we have seen that a # of states are quickly getting backlogged with all the interest. While we patiently wait for the paper work to come in, here's a breakdown of where we are at:

Alabama (AL) - Effective 8/1/2021, WineDirect is ready! Please send us a copy of your AL permit to update the shipping channel. Please note that the old AL configuration will be phasing out on 10/31. Starting on 11/1, an AL DTC permit will be required.

Kansas (KS) - Effective immediately, WineDirect is shipping! As your Account Manager for our license #.

Kentucky (KY) - WineDirect is now shipping! 

Tennessee (TN) - Effective 1/1/2022, TBD

Ohio (OH) - Effective 9/28/2021, more communication to come with the applicable clients.
